Privacy policy

VARAK collects no data, and your documents never leave your Mac. That is the whole policy; the rest of this page explains it precisely.

Your documents

Every operation — opening, reading, editing text, annotating, filling forms, recognising text (OCR), redacting, protecting and removing passwords, signing, exporting and compressing — runs entirely inside the app on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, copied or transmitted anywhere.

What is not collected

VARAK contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, no user accounts and no tracking of any kind. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is gathered in the first place.

Network use

The app makes no network connections of its own. The only network activity that can occur is the App Store purchase and restore flow, which is carried out by Apple; Apple's privacy policy applies to it, and VARAK never sees your payment details.

What is stored on your Mac

• The list of recently opened files, so you can reopen them. You can clear it from the welcome screen.
• Automatic recovery snapshots of unsaved documents, so nothing is lost if the app quits unexpectedly. They are deleted when you save or discard.
• Your app preferences, and — after a purchase — a small local record that VARAK Pro is unlocked.

All of this stays in VARAK's own folder inside your user Library and is removed when you delete the app.

This website

varak.app serves static pages. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operation, as any web server does.

Email

If you write to support@varak.app, your message and address are used to answer you and nothing else. They are not added to any mailing list or shared with anyone.

Children

VARAK is a productivity tool with no accounts, no messaging and no data collection. It is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected, there is none for anyone to access, correct, export or delete. Your files remain entirely under your control on your own computer.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date.
